SW-D Series: 8-Station Rotary Granule Filler

The SW-D series fills pre-formed pouches with free-flowing granule products on an 8-station rotary carousel. Each station performs one step — bag loading, opening, filling, sealing, cooling, coding, detection, and discharge — all running simultaneously so throughput stays high even at large bag sizes.

A multi-head combination weigher (standard) or linear weigher (optional for sticky granules) measures each portion. All product-contact surfaces are SUS304 stainless steel. The PLC + HMI touch screen stores up to 50 recipes and supports stand-up, flat, and zipper pouches — switch format via software, no mechanical retooling.

Machine Operation

How the 8-Station Rotary Cycle Works

All stations run simultaneously — while one pouch is being filled, others are being loaded, sealed, and discharged in parallel.

Load & Open

Suction cups pick premade pouches from the magazine onto rotary gripper clamps. A second set of suction cups separates the panels; an air jet inflates the bag fully open. Sensors skip any failed opens automatically.

Weigh & Fill

The multi-head weigher calculates the optimal bucket combination and dispenses product through a stainless steel chute into the open pouch. A vibration device prevents product bridging during transfer.

Seal & Cool

Heated jaws close the bag mouth under controlled pressure — temperature, dwell time, and pressure are adjustable per film type. Cooling plates solidify the seal to prevent deformation before release.

Code & Discharge

Optional date coder prints batch info on the finished pouch. Gripper clamps release onto the outfeed conveyor. A reject mechanism removes underweight or failed-seal bags before they reach the packing station.

Choose Premade Bag (SW-D) When:

What is the lead time and payment terms?

Standard lead time is 20–30 working days after deposit confirmation. Payment: 30% deposit on order, 70% balance before shipment (T/T). Custom configurations (non-standard voltage, special HMI language, additional devices) may add 5–10 working days. Contact us with your requirements for a confirmed production schedule.

Can the voltage and HMI language be customized?

Yes. Available in 380V/50Hz (standard for most Asian and European markets) and 220V/60Hz (for North and Central American markets). The HMI touch screen supports English, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese, French, and other languages on request. Specify both when requesting a quote so we can confirm availability and lead time.

What warranty and after-sales support is included?

2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal operation and maintenance. Wear parts (sealing strips, suction cups, heating elements) are excluded. Spare parts ship from our Guangdong factory within 3 working days. Remote video technical support is free for the lifetime of the machine. On-site installation and operator training are available on request (travel costs quoted separately).

Do you provide installation and operator training?

We provide a detailed installation manual, wiring diagram, and remote video guidance at no charge — most customers self-install successfully with remote support. For on-site installation, a ShengWei engineer can travel to your factory (travel and accommodation costs quoted separately, typically 7–10 days on-site). Training covers machine operation, recipe setup, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Can I send a product sample for a packing test?

Yes. Ship 2–5 kg of your product plus a sample pouch to our Shantou factory. We will run a packing test on the actual machine, record a video of the results, and share the footage along with recommended machine settings. This is the most reliable way to confirm the machine suits your product before committing to an order. Contact us for the shipping address.

How do I choose between the SW-D200, SW-D250, and SW-D320?

The only difference is maximum bag width: SW-D200 handles up to 200 mm, SW-D250 up to 250 mm, and SW-D320 up to 320 mm. All three share the same 8-station platform, control system, and filling options. Pick the model whose bag width range covers your largest pouch format. If you are unsure, send us your bag dimensions and we will recommend the right model.

What is the machine's footprint and factory requirements?

The complete line (packing machine + weigher + platform) occupies approximately 4,500 × 2,820 mm with a height of 3,700 mm. You will need a compressed air supply of 0.6–1.2 m³/min and a 380V or 220V power connection (configurable). The factory floor should be level and able to support approximately 2,300 kg. A detailed layout drawing is included with every quotation.

How often do wear parts need replacing?

Sealing strips typically last 3–6 months under two-shift operation, suction cups 6–12 months, and heating elements 12–18 months depending on film type and sealing temperature. We recommend keeping one set of spare wear parts on hand. All wear parts are standard components — we ship replacements within 3 working days from our Guangdong factory.

Can the SW-D series handle recyclable or paper-based film?

Yes. The sealing temperature, dwell time, and jaw pressure are all adjustable via the HMI panel, so the machine can be tuned for mono-material PE/PP recyclable films and paper-based laminates. We recommend sending a sample pouch for a sealing test before full production to confirm the optimal parameters for your specific material.

What shipping options are available?

We ship via sea freight (FCL or LCL) to any international port, with FOB Shantou as the standard trade term. The machine is crated in a fumigation-free plywood case suitable for customs clearance. Air freight and door-to-door delivery via logistics partners are available on request. We can also work with your nominated freight forwarder. Typical sea freight transit to Southeast Asia is 7–14 days, to the Middle East 18–25 days, and to Latin America 30–40 days.
