Cookie Policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026  |  Effective date: 11 May 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Guangdong ShengWei Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. ("ShengWei", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on shengweimachine.com (the "Site"). It tells you what cookies are, what we use them for, who places them, how long they last, and how you can control them. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your browser when you visit. They let the site remember your actions, preferences, and session over time so you don't have to re-enter them on every page. We also use similar technologies — such as local storage and browser tags — that function like cookies for the purposes of this policy.

2. Why we use cookies

We use cookies to:

  • keep the website secure and prevent abuse;
  • remember your cookie choices;
  • understand which pages international buyers actually use, so we can improve the machine pages and buying guides;
  • operate quote-request forms and route inquiries to our sales team;
  • measure which of our Google Search ads lead to quote requests, if you accept Marketing cookies.

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of individual users, we do not use remarketing, and we do not sell your data.

3. Categories of cookies we use

We classify cookies in five categories. Only "Strictly Necessary" cookies are stored before you make a choice — all others stay disabled until you accept them in the consent banner. Before you choose, Google tags can still send limited measurement signals without cookies; see section 4.

3.1 Strictly Necessary

Required for the website to function. You cannot disable these in our banner because the site would not work without them.

3.2 Functional

Remember choices you made (such as language) so you don't have to set them on every visit.

We do not currently set functional cookies.

3.3 Analytics

Help us count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the site. Aggregated, not used to identify you personally.

CookieProviderPurposeRetention

sw_attr (sessionStorage)This siteRecords the referring site, landing page and last 5 pages viewed; attached to the quote request form if you submit it. Not a cookie; set only after you accept AnalyticsUntil you close the browser

3.4 Marketing

Measure whether visitors who arrive from one of our Google Search ads go on to send a quote request. Set only after you accept the Marketing category. We do not use remarketing, and ad personalisation is switched off in our Google accounts.

_gcl_ls (local storage)Google AdsKeeps the same ad-click information in your browser's local storageUntil it expires or you clear the site data in your browser

3.5 Third-party embedded content

Some pages embed third-party content that may set its own cookies the moment the content loads:

ServiceWhen it appearsWhat it does
YouTube (Google)Machine pages with embedded videoSets VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, YSC, __Secure-YEC, PREF, SOCS to track video preferences and ad targeting. Loaded in privacy-enhanced mode where supported.
Google FontsAll pagesLoads font files; does not set cookies but does receive your IP address.

We do not control these third-party cookies. Their use is governed by the relevant provider's privacy policy — for YouTube/Google, see policies.google.com/privacy.

4. Google Consent Mode v2

We use Google Consent Mode v2 in advanced mode. Google Tag Manager loads when a page opens, but every consent signal starts as "denied". While a signal is denied, Google tags do not read or write cookies for that purpose; they can still send limited measurement signals without cookies (for example, that a page was viewed or a quote form was sent). Like any web request, these signals include technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page address; if you arrived from one of our ads, the page address can contain the ad-click identifier (gclid). Google uses these signals to estimate visit and ad-conversion totals in aggregate. When you accept Analytics, analytics_storage is set to "granted". When you accept Marketing, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are set to "granted"; ad personalisation stays switched off in our Google accounts, so these signals are used only to measure ad conversions. If you reject, the signals stay "denied". Other Google services used on the Site, such as Google Fonts and embedded YouTube videos, are described in section 3.5.

5. Your choices

You have full control over non-necessary cookies:

  • Accept All — enable every category. Best experience.
  • Reject All — only strictly necessary cookies will load. The site will still work.
  • Customize — pick categories one by one.
  • Withdraw consent at any time — click the small consent icon in the bottom-left corner of any page to reopen the banner and change your choices.

6. Managing cookies in your browser

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The exact steps depend on your browser:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Disabling strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.

7. Do Not Track

The Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals because there is no industry standard for how websites should react. The Site also does not act on Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals automatically; use the consent banner to set your choices.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove tools. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always shows the current version. Material changes — for example introducing marketing cookies — will trigger a new consent prompt.
