This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit shengweimachine.com (the "Site") or contact our sales team, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

We are an industrial packaging machinery manufacturer. The Site exists to give international buyers technical information about our machines and to receive quote requests.

When you submit a quote request form, contact us by email, or message us on WhatsApp, we collect:

- The product you want to pack, target output, bag type / size, and any other details you share to receive an accurate quotation;
- Any attachments (specifications, sample photos) you choose to send.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you browse the Site we automatically collect:
- IP address, approximate location (country / region), browser type, operating system, device type;
- Pages visited, time spent, referring URL, search terms used to reach us;

2.3 We do not knowingly collect
- Special categories of personal data (health, religion, political opinions, etc.);
- Data about children under 16.

4. Who we share your data with
We share data only with the third parties needed to run the business:
- Hosting: ChemiCloud (servers located in the United States and the European Union);
- CDN & security: Cloudflare (global edge);
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (only after consent);
- Email delivery: our outbound mail provider for transactional replies;
- Translation: TranslatePress (server-side, no third-party API in use today);
- Shipping partners: freight forwarders and shipping companies for confirmed orders;
- Government authorities: when legally required (customs, tax, export compliance).
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not share data for cross-context behavioural advertising.
5. International data transfers
ShengWei is based in China, and your inquiry will be processed there. If you contact us from the EEA / UK / Switzerland, your data may be transferred to China and to our third-party processors located outside your country. We rely on:
- your explicit consent when submitting a quote request, given that international transfer is unavoidable for a cross-border sale; and
- standard contractual safeguards with our processors where applicable.

- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
California consumers have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and to limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not process sensitive PI in the CCPA sense). Brazil residents (LGPD)

8. Security
We protect your data with:
- HTTPS encryption on the entire Site;
- WAF (Web Application Firewall) and bot mitigation via Imunify360 and Cloudflare;
- Restricted server access via SSH key + key passphrase, no password login;
- Role-separated WordPress administrators with strong passwords;
- Off-site automated backups.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we discover a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the competent authority where the law requires us to.

10. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party websites (e.g. YouTube videos, supplier brand pages). We are not responsible for those sites' privacy practices. Review their policies before submitting personal data.
11. Children
The Site is a B2B platform for industrial buyers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We update this policy whenever our processing practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page always shows the current version. We will highlight material changes on the Site for 30 days after the update.
