Changes in this version: we now run Google Search ads and measure which ads lead to quote requests (Google Ads; cookies only after you accept Marketing cookies). Guangdong ShengWei Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. ("ShengWei", "we", "us", "our") takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit shengweimachine.com (the "Site") or contact our sales team, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.
If you are a buyer based in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, Switzerland, California, or Brazil, this policy is written to meet the GDPR, UK GDPR, FADP, CCPA/CPRA, and LGPD requirements that apply to international export websites of our type.

We are an industrial packaging machinery manufacturer. The Site exists to give international buyers technical information about our machines and to receive quote requests.
2. What personal data we collect
2.1 Information you give us
When you submit a quote request form, contact us by email, or message us on WhatsApp, we collect:
- Name, company name, country, business email, phone number;
- The page address and page language from which you submitted the quote request form, your IP address, and the country inferred from your IP address (provided by our CDN, Cloudflare; we do not use a third-party geolocation service). If you have accepted analytics cookies, we also record the site that referred you, the page where you entered the Site, and the pages you viewed in that visit (up to the last 5); these are kept in your browser's sessionStorage, which is cleared when you close the browser, and are attached to the form when you submit it;
- The product you want to pack, target output, bag type / size, and any other details you share to receive an accurate quotation;
- Any attachments (specifications, sample photos) you choose to send.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you browse the Site we automatically collect:
- IP address, approximate location (country / region), browser type, operating system, device type;
- Pages visited, time spent, referring URL, search terms used to reach us;
- If you arrive by clicking one of our Google ads, the ad-click identifier (gclid) that Google adds to the page address; it is stored in a cookie only if you accept Marketing cookies, but before you choose it can be sent to Google as part of the page address in cookieless signals;

2.3 We do not knowingly collect
- Special categories of personal data (health, religion, political opinions, etc.);
- Data about children under 16.

4. Who we share your data with
We share data only with the third parties needed to run the business:
- Hosting: Rocket.net (servers located in the United States);
- Email hosting: SiteGround (our info@shengweimachine.com mailbox);
- CDN & security: Cloudflare (global edge), provided by Rocket.net;
- Form security: Cloudflare Turnstile, which screens quote-form submissions for spam and bots;
- Inquiry records: the details you submit in the quote request form are stored in the Site's WordPress database (saved by the Flamingo plugin) on our hosting at Rocket.net;
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (cookies only after consent; before that, only cookieless signals — see our Cookie Policy);
- Advertising measurement: Google Ads, which receives the ad-click identifier and quote-form submission events after you accept Marketing cookies; before that, Google tags send only cookieless signals. We do not use remarketing, and ad personalisation is switched off;
- Email delivery: SiteGround, which sends the Site's outgoing email, such as quote-form notifications;
- Staff email: copies of quote-form notifications also go to a staff mailbox hosted by Google (Gmail);
- Translation: pages are translated in advance and stored as separate language pages; no visitor data is sent to a translation service;
- Shipping partners: freight forwarders and shipping companies for confirmed orders;
- Government authorities: when legally required (customs, tax, export compliance).
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not share data for cross-context behavioural advertising.
5. International data transfers
ShengWei is based in China, and your inquiry will be processed there. If you contact us from the EEA / UK / Switzerland, your data may be transferred to China and to our third-party processors located outside your country. We rely on:
- your explicit consent when submitting a quote request, given that international transfer is unavoidable for a cross-border sale; and
- standard contractual safeguards with our processors where applicable.
6. How long we keep your data

7. Your rights
Subject to your local law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Rectify data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- Erase data we no longer need to retain;
- Restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@shengweimachine.com with a description of your request. We reply within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before disclosing personal data.
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
California consumers have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and to limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not process sensitive PI in the CCPA sense). Submit a request to the email above. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Brazil residents (LGPD)
You have rights of confirmation, access, correction, anonymisation, blocking or deletion, portability, information about sharing, and the right to revoke consent. Contact the email above.
8. Security
We protect your data with:
- HTTPS encryption on the entire Site;
- WAF (Web Application Firewall) and bot mitigation via Cloudflare, provided by Rocket.net;
- Restricted server access via SSH key authentication, no password login;
- Role-separated WordPress administrators with strong passwords;
- Automated backups by our hosting provider.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we discover a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the competent authority where the law requires us to.

10. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party websites (e.g. YouTube videos, supplier brand pages). We are not responsible for those sites' privacy practices. Review their policies before submitting personal data.
11. Children
The Site is a B2B platform for industrial buyers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We update this policy whenever our processing practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page always shows the current version. We will highlight material changes on the Site for 30 days after the update.
